I want to address the roots of illness, not just the symptoms.
Symptoms are messages. They signal when we are out of balance.
Taking away symptoms without addressing the cause can lead to different or more serious imbalances.
I want to help you feel better as soon as possible.
There are times when addressing symptoms is really important, because certain symptoms, like sleep loss, mood imbalances, or pain can hamper your ability to heal in a major way.
Typically I regard symptomatic approaches as short-term solutions, coupling them with longer-term strategies for deeper results.
I want to enhance your body’s innate ability to heal.
Sometimes it’s just a matter of providing some missing nutrients or removing some irritating foods or habits.
Other times, the body’s healing abilities are compromised, and much more support is needed.
Either way, I emphasize recommendations that promote the greatest health with the least risk of harm.
I want to empower you with knowledge and tools.
Symptoms can be confusing, both when they are persistent and when they fluctuating.
Usually it’s more than one thing that’s causing an imbalance, such as accumulated stress, dietary irritants or nutrient deficiencies, lifestyle mismatches, infections or environmental exposures, familial patterns and/or personal history.
My goal is to help you figure out which factors are most influential, and give you the tools to address them.
I want to find solutions that work for you.
Everyone has his or her own path to wellness. My job is to give you information and tools to help you along the way, and then you get to decide how you want to proceed.
I’m going meet you where you are- with compassion, understanding, and honesty.
